Respect for the materials being processed and high
quality standards this is the hallmark of our
manfacturing methods. This is why we pay utmost
attention to the minutest details, including the
insides of our heaters. After precisely cutting, aligning,
tacking and welding the flat pipes, the seams are
carefully surface-ground.
No other manufacturer offers heaters with metallic surfaces
with a feather-ground finish. Rectilinearity and experience
are required, so that when the top-to-bottom grinding is
completed the elements lie smoothly over one other like
a stack of delicately arranged feathers.
The creation of a wavelike heater starts with the exact
bending of individual pipes at precisely marked
points. The cycle needs to be repeated twice, alternatively
on either flat side, until a curve is formed through the
constant reduction of the pipe s radii: a procedure which
requires a lot of patience and a delicate touch.
Tubesheets used to design the front must at first
be cut to size, so they can later be torn or cut out
and shaped into a basin on a press brake.
It takes two weekdays to transform 10-15 tube bends into
an artistically shaped piece of plastic. A mould is used
to align the segments. They are then mounted vertically on
a pedestal and seal-welded. Once the seams have been
removed, they are longitudinally and evenly ground. A clear
varnish is applied to give it a polished finish and to optimise
the heating capacity.
